Vijftig jaar na de expo wordt er met veel plezier teruggekeken op hét evenement dat het jaar 1958 beheerste.

Radio 1 kijkt ook met plezier terug op een halve eeuw muziek van bij ons, stuk voor stuk groepen, zangers, zangeressen die straffe liedjes gemaakt hebben die er nog altijd staan.

Radio 1 verzamelde 117 onverwoestbare Belgische liedjes op zes cd's, verpakt in een alleraardigste cdbox. Uit elk decennium sinds de expo verzamelden we de strafste songs van onze strafste artiesten én we gooiden er een bonus-cd bij met wat bizarre en vergeten parels.
