Kim Duchateau verstript exclusief voor Radio1-Mezzo een song van Bob Dylan

Hoe vaak en in hoeveel gedaantes is Bob Dylan al aan het publiek verschenen? Hij was folkmuzikant, protestzanger, een door God geïnspireerde popartiest. Hij speelde akoestisch en maakte tot onsteltenis van zijn fans ineens elektrisch versterkte muziek.

De bundel "Bob Dylan Revisited" voegt nog een nieuwe kant toe van Bob Dylan: dertien stripkunstenaars interpreteerden dertien van zijn nummers. Onder hen uit Italië Lorenzo Mattotti (A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall), uit de Verenigde Staten Dave McKean (Desolation Row), uit Frankrijk François Avril (Girl Of The North Country) en uit Servië Gradimir Smudja (Hurricane). Alle dertien stuk voor stuk prachtige korte (strip)verhalen. De bundel bevat de originele teksten en de vertaling in het Nederlands.

Striptekenaar Kim Duchateau is razend enthousiast over de stripbundel Dylan Revisited, met getekende versies van Dylan-songs. Daarom voegde hij er op woensdag 10 juni zijn eigen ‘verstripping’ van een Dylan-song aan toe, live voor de webcam van Mezzo op Radio 1. De resultaten zijn hier te bewonderen
